Large metals and chemical producer looking for a Senior Project Engineer (Plant Site).
Position requires engineering to be performed from inception to constructed completion. Work includes cost estimation, proposal writing, all facets of engineering and design, scope of work preparation and project management. Additional duties will include assisting the Maintenance Department with plant equipment improvements such as increasing reliability and lowering maintenance costs. Candidate must be innovative, aggressive, self-directing, and possess the communication and teamwork skills necessary to interact at all levels of the organization. APE license is a plus.
Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of relevant project/plant engineering experience in a heavy industrial facility (ie. nonferrous smelter, aluminum plant, chemical plant, or refinery).
