Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Relocation: Yes
Location: Columbus, OH

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintaining production lines.
• Product Quality – Internal and External.
• Process Quality.
• Customer Liaison for product and quality.
• Internal and External Projects, both company-driven and Customer-driven.
• Final product auditing.
• Monitoring internal quality performance and taking appropriate action to deter repeat defects.
• Project Management.
• Other projects, duties assigned as needed.

Required Background:

• BS in Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in mid-volume mixture of automation and manual operations.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Experience in reinforced fiberglass industry and TS16949 or QS9000 systems preferred.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans.

Desired traits:

• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, independent but able to function in a team environment.
• Knowledge of CAD, Solid works a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 10%.
• Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool.
