Background experience Required: At a minimum, the successful candidate must possess twelve (12) years of related experience or an IT related BS degree and eight (8) years of experience or an IT related MS/PHD degree and six (6) years of experience. This experience must demonstrate five years of Cisco and three years of Juniper experience. Cisco and/or Juniper certification preferred. In addition, the successful candidate must demonstrate seven years of combined experience leading technology assessments or system integration assessments and fielding IT systems. A minimum of 3 years of Network Architecture and Network deployment is required using Cisco/Juniper equipment. A minimum of 2 years experience with Cisco VOIP services and Move, Add, Change request processing is required.

• Modern converged network technologies (TCP/IP protocol suite, routing technologies, VoIP, QoS, etc.).
• IP-based network communications including all their network components like Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and VPNs preferable with Cisco and Juniper experience and certifications.
• Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting site to site IPSEC VPNs and policy/route based on firewall policies.
• Experience in all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle including: requirements; architecture; design; implementation; testing; and operations and maintenance.
