Job Summary

Plan, coordinate and prepare construction cost estimates primarily for water and wastewater treatment or other hard bid construction projects.
Review project specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.

Qualifications

5-10 years experience estimating water and wastewater plants.

Process piping welded and flanged
Process equipment installation

5-10 years experience in Heavy Industrial.

Process piping welded and flanged
Equipment installation
Rigging

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or Estimating, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
Proficiency with Excel.
Experience with HCSS and/or Timberline Estimating Systems.
Experience with Primavera Scheduling.
Miscellaneous Metal and Structural Steel Experience.
Must have all trades take-off experience.
Project $ Value experience should be in the $2M – $25M range.
Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing required.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Ability to thrive in a team environment and committed to working as a team is critical.
